Limbo delivers an adrenaline-charged show captivating audiences at the Spiegeltent in the Garden of Unearthly Delights (GOUD). Having first premiered at the Adelaide Fringe stage 13 years ago, this production has evolved into a visually stunning spectacle that feels both fresh and familiar.

From the moment the show started, the audience was drawn into a world of suspense and surprise. This is far from the typical circus act, instead providing something more immersive and unpredictable.

The intimate setting keeps the audience on edge, and constantly wondering where the next surprise would emerge from as the cast and audience interacted with an intense energy blending circus, cabaret, dance, and comedy.

Performers demonstrated their physical prowess, with a number of moments leaving hearts stopping and the crowd audibly gasping in awe and disbelief.

The music, led by the innovative Sxip Shirey, infused the night with a rich, dynamic energy, underscoring moods of romance, suspense, and sensuality. The live performance created an energy that elevated the spectacle to new heights.

While Limbo is known for its ability to blend cabaret, circus, and theatre, this version introduces fresh elements that push the boundaries of physical ability, reality, and appropriateness. The cast flirts dangerously with the audience, blurring the lines between performance and reality, making for an intoxicating experience.

A must-see show that leaves you in a state of exhilaration and awe that proves it’s possible to keep things fresh, fast-paced, and just a little spicy. Be prepared to be seduced by the allure of Limbo.
