Wild Side is back! Rockier and raunchier than ever before! This time they are in the Ukiyo at Gluttony and its the perfect venue for this hard edged rock burlesque spectacle. Once again you will hear the sounds of Guns n’ Roses Welcome to the Jungle because that what it is…its a jungle in the Ukiyo! It’s more up close and personal giving you an ever better view of the ‘fun and games.’ Host or ‘Them C’ Hannah Indigo strutted their stuff introducing the performers and telling us sternly the houses rules. One of the major rules was ‘the louder you (we the audience) are the more will be revealed!’ On this night the crowd was loud(-y) and rowdy just the way they wanted it and a lot was revealed! Sian Brigid gave us her steely no nonsense, tassel twirling, bum slapping brand of burlesque making sure the crowd was toeing the line of the ‘make some noise rules.’ The whips and sword swallowing also made an appearance. She wowed us and made us squirm as she bended her body slowly with the sword down her throat! Eeeek! Melbourne artist Juniper Foxx, a new addition to the show, strolled on in like the Ukiyo’s Sherriff that she is and blew everyone away with her very sexy and very limber body rubbing burlesque. The water splashing performance definitely redefined bath time! Kara Maree once again showed us her prowess on the silk and chain ropes. Balancing, twirling, sliding and swinging hard. How she does it on those chains is really something to see. Hanging upside on her toes; how does that not hurt! Hannah Indigo along with hosting duties also shimmered, hip swayed and burlesque’d us along with their signature guitar and power tool fireworks display. It brought the sparks and fire before the ending of their light flashing hoola hooping finale! If you like your 80s rock then Wild Side is the wild rock and ride show for you!
