If you’ve never checked out the Adults Only Bubble Show, you’re missing out on some of the most unique physical theatre on the Fringe circuit. Veteran performers Iulia and Kurt are back with a sexy, soapy sequel to their smash hit, bringing us the wonderful world of bubbles and the endless fun and forms they can take.

There are no limits to the possibilities our dynamic duo can create on stage. Towers of foam, intricate 3D shapes, smoking spheres, spiraling structures and an endless supply of props make every kind of bubble you can imagine, manipulating air and water in incredibly intricate ways. At one point, a lucky audience member gets brought on stage to get encased in a giant bubbly column. Much of the execution requires precision and timing; anyone who’s blown a bubble knows that it can be a temperamental task. There’s clearly been a lot of careful planning and practice, as only a few times do our duo have to work overtime to get the desired bubbly concoction right.

The scenery jumps from one humorous scenario to the next with our two leads inhabiting a range of colourful, outlandish characters and costumes. Aliens, ravers and sleazy salesmen are just a few of the people you’ll get to meet tying this whacky experience together. There’s innuendo and humour aplenty, and our hosts make sure to keep the comedy and the wow factor strong. Kurt and Iulia are physical comedy maestros and their mannerisms and facial expressions will leave you breathless with laughter. Iulia is a notable force of nature; she’s been leveling up her contortion skills now she brings a few of her impressive backbends and splits to pepper her already impressive physicality. 

As astonishing as it is hilarious, Adults Only Bubble Show: 2 will keep you guessing and keep you laughing with endless creativity and a sexy sideshow experience like no other. Just be wary of sitting in the front row: you’re guaranteed to get soaked!
