Review: The 60 Four - Living in the 70's

The Flamingo at Gluttony
For well over 1 hour the Adelaide born 60 Four sang, danced and sizzled through the 70's with their energy charged 9 piece band.
Flamingo is a fantastic venue near the entrance to Gluttony where one can expect to see some of the premium acts in the Fringe this year. Seating was good comfortable with good viewing from all areas.
The boys (60 four) who are now men from Scotch College are well and truly on their way, with an SA tour in progress at venues in Elizabeth, Port Pirie, Mt Gambier and more to come.
It is easy to see, feel and hear there love for performing as they took the audience on a journey through the best of the 70's.
Aussie greats like "Living in the 70's", Howzat, Love is in the air and the iconic "Eagle Rock" were well received, but it was in "Let it Be" and "Rocket Man" that we experienced the layers of harmony that can only achieved by four voices.
Some of the songs were right up in the stratosphere, but that didn't stop the group from pushing themselves to their vocal limits. "I was made for Lovin You" and "Don't Stop Me Now" were definite favourites. The dancing choreography was precise, well thought and fun to watch.
In essence The 60 Four is a non stop, energy charged, electric hour of disco and 70's party that should not be missed.
