If you ever enjoyed the show Fawlty Towers, run don’t walk to book seats at this incredible calibre dinner show. Set in the light and leafy Botanical Room at The Terrace Hotel (on South Terrace) parking is ample and you’ll avoid all of the East End hustle PLUS enjoy a really lovely three course meal. The cast played their parts to an absolute tee….. it was exactly like the show and the entire sold out room were transported to Fawlty Towers in Devon, England and I can tell you the 130ish guests in our dinner session roared with laughter from start to end. While the content of this show would be fine for kids / families, it’s a couple of hours at a dinner table and we think this one is best for your date night or take your Basil loving parents! Our tip, arrive half an hour early and buy a drink at the bar lounge prior to doors opening. (The show actually starts out there to welcome and seat you.) We opted for a bottle of wine to take in with us, as there is no real ‘break’ in the first hour and you do need to go out of the room to the bar for beverage service. The meal (included with your ticket price) was delightful and dietary requirements can be catered for. If you are wanting to sit with friends in the same session and haven’t booked tickets together, you can also request that prior your show day. This was such a high quality experience. Manuel (Adrian Espulso) was an absolute crack up (and happens to be lowkey hot). Basil (Cameron Hurry) delivered 110% energy, he didn’t stop, and thank goodness for Sybil (Gemma Galley), keeping them all in line and having epic hair. If you like Fawlty Towers - see the show, it won’t disappoint, it was SO true to the show and we give it five solid stars.
