VOLO: Dreams of Flight is back for this years Fringe and it’s as enjoyable as ever. A combination of old-school swings and cutting-edge technology, you’ll enter a virtual world inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci’s fabulous flying machines and soar high while barely leaving the ground.

The swings are suitable for all ages, as long as you can board, swing, and stop without assistance. Sessions run for 15 minutes, and the higher you swing, the faster you’ll fly. Take your time to savour the experience, or feel the rush of a shorter, more intense flight.

Options range in intensity from the more serene/not so high Glider, to the Helical Screw, Ornithopter and finally Parachute. We recommend the Glider for younger children or those not sure how they will react to the VR experience.
