After a successful run in 2022, Fafi and her Delinquents have upped the ante to take us on another debaucherous and uncut night of high octane caburlesque (cabaret/burlesque). Even though the definition of a delinquent may be a “criminal”, everything they do in this show is criminally right! (possibly an oxymoron but you get the picture) Filled with some of their previous classic dance routines and musical power ballads, now with a plethora of new saucy material that adds some extra spice. Queen of the stage, Fiona Smith aka Fafi D’Alour is an internationally recognised performer and her skills and technique throughout the show demonstrate exactly why she’s such a credited performer. Over ten years experience are on full display as Fiona saunters and parades around the stage, giving the audience everything they want and so much more. Eliza Dickson never disappoints with her powerhouse vocals that complement the genre of the show. Her confidence and stage presence are second to none as she commands the stage with poise and grace. Sarah Wilson, Hannah Shepheard and Georgia Rose all brought their unique artistic talents to the production, blindfolded aerial artistry anyone? They wowed and dazzled in all their fabulous glory. This show has it all, aerial acrobatics, cabaret, burlesque, live music that is combined into an electrifying show that oozes new age artistic brilliance. Fafi D’Alour and the Delinquents Uncut was a terrific way to see out another wonderful Fringe season, I look forward to seeing what this talented cast comes up with for their next spectacular!
