Musolino is an experienced storyteller who easily draws the audience into the world he creates.

This story of a man who has all he desires, a life with his much-loved wife and daughter, a job he enjoys and a relationship with his father-in-law that he values, all of which can be lost in the blink of an eye. Musolino charts the joy and love and plumbs the depths of loss and despair.

The subtle use of light and sound, by Chris Petridis, lighting and Quincy Grant, composer, enhance Mealor’s direction without intruding on the story. Kathryn Sproul’s stark set gives a blank canvas for Musolino’s words to paint upon. A moving piece which displays the talent of those involved.
