Adelaide Fringe Review: Gordon Southern: On The Road Again -  Howling Owl, 2023
 

Veteran and well-known comedian Gordon Southern has brought an adventure-packed show to this year’s Adelaide 2023 Fringe Festival. Following his journey over deserts and the seas, war and peaceful times Gordon is crafty in his tales of adventures of a comedian travelling throughout the world.

As a resident of Adelaide over COVID times Gordon is able to connect with his audience with tales of familiar haunts before launching into stories from life as a comedian experiencing the world. 

With quick wit and light touch, Gordon continues to produce thoughtful and well-paced shows of those you would pay to see in larger venues. Through the audience’s laughter, Gordon is able to glide through political, environmental and societal issues leading the audience through heavy topics with comedic elegance. This is a show for a broad audience, the show is intelligent but delivered with joyous wit. 

Gordon is a wonderful storyteller as well as a comedian, I recommend this is not one to miss.
