Adelaide welcomes back Erin Fowler's award-winning physical theatre comedy, EGG, to the Adelaide Fringe.
This relatable and approachable performance is a very personal and intimate story that resonates with many and will certainly be appreciated by a female audience. â€¨ The performance is a unique & funny exploration of fertility and motherhood. A journey that many women may face as they progress through their lives. â€¨ The performance takes you on Erin’s journey through motherhood, being 32 and single, her biological clock is ticking. Something that, at 31, I can personally relate to. â€¨ The talent battles the decision to freeze her eggs at an exorbitant expense, as she singles out other potential options. We are not going to lie; this has been a discussion that is rife in our workplace.  â€¨ Confusion strikes Erin as she wonders whether she even wants a child, and by the time she makes her decision, will it be too late? This is something that many women can relate to.  â€¨ Combining dance, clowning, bagpipes, and a cheeky life-sized egg, EGG questions all things fertility and motherhood in a powerful exploration of how we make the big decisions in life. We are here for it.  â€¨ EGG is a deeply personal performance that will resonate with many, as this solo performance is suitable for those wanting to see a quirky show that they may find really hits home.
