This show has it all. The energy immediately hits the audience as the women enter the stage. Using female centered music, female artists, and female empowering moves and costumes, this show oozes sex appeal and style. Think of a dance style and you will probably get a glimpse. There is everything from hip hop, commercial, Latin, tap and even the can-can, there is even a short aerial sequence on the hoop, and some performances in the pool and the bathtub. This show literally takes everything sexy and powerful about being a woman and intertwines it together to make a jam-packed show. The girls dance in small groups, and then showcase their strengths individually to cover costume changes. The women work well together as a troupe, but also captivate individually. The show is also broken up with three breathtaking performances by Kraken Fire Art. This means that there is very little pause between acts and helps the flow of the show. The show pays homage to the burlesque genre, commercializing the moves to make it more modern, while still having seductive and strong lines which is central to the burlesque style. There were some moments where moves and sections felt a little repetitive or limited due to spacing. It should be noted, however, that for a dance troupe who may be used to a stage, they used the space very well, incorporating all areas of danceable space, and attempting to face all members of the audience as much as possible. This is a very enjoyable and energetic show, with lots of stand out performances. Some of these shows are already sold out, so if you are keen to see these vivacious women strut their stuff, I highly recommend getting on to buying the last tickets.
