Circus never looked so sexy! Let this ensemble of outstandingly skilled performers transport you to Club D’Amour, a French brothel buried deep in the heart of Paris. With looks that could kill and talents that you’d kill for, the cast is sure to leave you begging for more.

Captivating Fringe-goers all the way from Perth, the Tone & Cheek production boasts a colourful blend of contemporary dance, saucy circus, and breath-taking burlesque. Kicking off the show with a naughty spin on shadow puppetry, the stunning Fay Rocious invites audiences through a tale of passion, heartbreak, and forbidden love. Infused with hilarious antics and more than suggestive jokes, the show encourages audiences to let their freak flags fly with pride.

The wildly colourful cast delights audiences with a vast array of skills and talents, backed by a chemistry that truly sets the mood for the show. From Anthony Tran and Melina Mall’s stunning Aerial Acrobatics to Natalie Oakes and Linton Elethios’ gracious contemporary dance, the show promises an hour of truly awe-inspiring sights. A hidden wildcard in the audience, the amazing Matthew Pope also impresses with his devilish good looks and flair for performing, complemented by the gorgeously charismatic Fay Rocious. The show also features balance acrobatics, pole dancing, ballet, and aerial hoop work, sending ripples of applause through the audience.

One of the highlights of the show is Amber Scates, who astonishes audiences beyond belief with her sultry live singing. With her fiery pink hair and even hotter stage presence, Amber’s voice completes the truly amazing show. Her passion for her art and bubbly personality show through her performance, and, much like her fellow cast members, she is a testament to her industry.

Whether you’re catching balls, stealing glances, or getting honked at, the cast goes above and beyond for a killer audience interaction. Hidden beneath the raunchiness and laughter, Club D’Amour captures a core moral at its heart. The show is a celebration of love in all its forms, not only passion and seduction but self-love and acceptance. Whether you’re quiet, queer, questioning, or otherwise, Club D’Amour celebrates all people from all walks of life.

This is not a show to miss, and it is a true pleasure to experience. Though the production will no longer be showing for the remainder of this Fringe season, we can only hope that they will return next year.
