You are introduced to The Party with a clever and entertaining few initial minutes where the cast manages to convince the audience to share various parts of their clothing with the performer.
This is unexpected and brilliant and sets you up for the next 90 minutes of gate-crashing chaos from the cast.
The performance radiates energy and there is certainly never a dull moment across the entire show.
9 Martinis and two dirty socks later, you are welcomed to The Party.
This celebration of pop culture is cleverly executed through the soundtrack, costumes and vibrant colours of the set, however a lack of a distinct storyline, while reflecting a chaotic party, leaves the audience a little lost at times.
There are certainly some unbelievably talented circus artists to keep you entertained, with a standout aerial performance from Cirque du Soleil star Angela, who captivated the Speigletent.
Created by the brains and talent behind long running performances Blanc de Blanc, Blanc de Blanc Encore and LIMBO, The Party is still in its infancy and with time will develop into a polished production reflecting the wonders of Fringe.
The performers have delivered an entertaining performance despite the very unlucky and early injury from one of the star performers of the cast. The response of the remaining of the cast is one that delivers a level of entertainment, despite the circumstances.
