Give yourself over to the absolute pleasure of Bourgeois & Maurice, the UK comedy cabaret duo that has sadly been missing from our stages since 2019.
In their post-COVID comeback, this outrageous, campy couple throws negativity out the door and seeks to find happiness and pleasure in all life has to offer – with only one notable exception.
Despite their protestations, there is always an underlying message to their shows, which is what makes their comedy so good. Bourgeois & Maurice should never be underestimated. Whether they’re singing about meat, babies, or a second life in the Meta universe, there is always social commentary and a heart beneath the sequins and silliness. In this one, they take us through the things that make (or should make) them happy, as they seek comfort in a world just out of lockdown.
No festival is complete without the presence of George Heyworth and Liv Morris as this dynamic duo.
Find the time to seek out this 60-minutes of utter pleasure.
