Generally, I’m not the biggest fan of tribute acts, always preferring to see the original band in the flesh or not at all.  But I decided to take a chance with seeing Noasis – originally hailing from the UK, now based in Adelaide, and touted as Australia’s best Oasis tribute act.  I must admit, I am a huge Oasis fan, have been for over 25 years, and was lucky enough to have seen them perform 23 years ago.  So this show had a lot to live up to.  â€¦I was NOT disappointed!  From the moment Noasis stepped onto The Gov main stage, it felt like Liam, Noel, and the rest of Oasis were present.  The atmosphere was electric, the songs performed true to form, including classics like “Champagne Supernova”, “Morning Glory”, “Be Here Now”, “Cigarettes And Alcohol”, and of course, their epic “Wonderwall”.  The entire audience was lapping it up and singing along.  Unfortunately, dancing was not permitted even though restrictions had been lifted that day, but it didn’t stop me from bopping around on the spot.  I was so impressed with Noasis that I will definitely be seeing them again in the future.
