In association with the Australian Cricketers’ Association and supported by Cricket Australia, this play presented by Belinda Redman and written by Mathew Banes and Tim Marriot confronts real social issues from the perspective of a cricketer, that loneliness and isolation not often spoken of. Mental illness is a theme that in recent times, especially within sport has been at the forefront of conversations in sport. This performance addresses that with a humorous and heartfelt manner, that is both heartbreaking and confronting, tugging at the heart strings. Once again Marriot is the show, and puts on a performance that one would expect, and beyond. This must be seen, to be appreciated.
