Having attended a wine tasting Fringe show in the past, I was pleasantly surprised to find a new one to sink my tastebuds into.  Set in the well-stocked Super Bueno Wine Bar, this wine tasting definitely proved to be unique.  Melbourne comedians, Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh, brought low-brow hilarity to the evening, whilst Adelaide wine expert, Henry Doyle (none other than Channel 7’s Jane Doyle’s son!), complemented the event by bringing a touch of class, as he guided us through the tasting of five delicious and diverse wines, from local and Australian wineries, and even included a Spanish drop.  The show was informative, funny, and entertaining, with just the right amount of audience participation in the form of compiling an “interesting” set of wine tasting notes.  In Pour Taste is a must see show and I hope it returns to next year’s Fringe.
