The Gods have spoken.... and they are telling you to book a babysitter (seriously, don't bring the kids to this!) and get down to Fool's Paradise to see GODZ. Four acrobats of epic proportions in all their glory (literally). Honestly, throughout this show, I don't know if I was horrified or horny. The acrobatic feats are truly AWE INSPIRING, with many heart in throat moments. This show really was not great for my anxiety, when one slip could mean one or more of the performers could come crashing down - thankfully, they are absolute pros and had us going wild throughout daring stunts including balances, holds, whip cracking, aerial, diablo, ladder tricks and plenty more. The trust and timing between these four guys is impeccable, they are truly masters of their craft who were clearly having the time of their lives onstage. In case you hadn't guessed from the title, the show is themed around Greek Mythology with Hercules, Cupid and other Gods coming out to play. And play they did. During and between the acrobatic work, the performers had us in absolute stitches with their comedy. Just a well timed look from one of them could send the audience into hysterics. They were cheeky, raunchy and downright naughty. And yep there is nudity and A LOT of innuendo. If you are a prude, don't bother booking. But if you love watching raw talent in action, laughing til you hiccup (yep that was me) and enjoy a bit of racy Greek God action, then make sure you go. If you see one show this Fringe season, make it this one!
