We love love loved this show last year, with our teens totally inspired by the women and gender-queer Defiant team, who took us on an incredible journey of fabulous acrobatic skill accompanied by a wicked soundtrack. This year the show was punchanged from last year, but it still did not disappoint. We took 2x 15yo girls to see this one, who are notoriously hard to please and everything is generally a 'meh', but the excitement and buzz as they left The Peacock (Gluttony for those who haven't memorised the maps like we have!) left no doubt The Defiant remained top shelf Fringe entertainment for the teen crowd. The circus themed 60 minute show features an array of acrobatic and hire-wire work, mixed in with live rock music and contemporary dance. The crew are uber-talented and the quality of the show is a credit to their hard work and dedication. We genuinely cannot recommend this enough for your teens, because quite frankly, they are the hardest audience in the world to please so when you find something they love, you need to share!
