What's better than a show hosted by and starring Tash York? A glass of wine, of course. How could this get even better? With a full-blown wine tasting experience, obviously!

Over the course of an hour, Tash and her trusted companion - femme powerhouse Victoria Falconer (from shows such as Smashed and Black Puddin') - whisk the audiences away into a smooth jazz setting-style universe, where everything weird and wonderful takes form seamlessly. With a strong and personable presence on stage, Tash is a natural at making sure that her audiences have their eyes locked on her, as she serenades us through a range of original and cover-versions of popular songs with a voice that will surprise you and leave you in a state of awe. Complementing the entertainment with a delicious range of wines by Chalk Hill Wines, each number is accompanied with the perfect blend of wine that heightens your senses and allows you to be part of this immersive experience. Tash and Victoria also cleverly weave their own relatable content throughout the performance, which further gives the audiences more reasons to fall in love with the versatility and personability that is sprinkled generously across the songs, the interactive elements, and natural banter on and off-stage.

Tash and Victoria are incredible performers who know how to light up a room with their larger-than-life personalities, their sharp sense of humour and wit, and the dynamic energy that is enough to uplift you from the lowest of your moods. The show is bursting with vocals that will leave you speechless, musical instruments that you've probably never had the pleasure of experiencing in person (ever wanted to use a saw as a violin? What about a couple of fancy glassware and a fork?), outstanding wardrobe styles that will give you all the envy, and a genuinely embracing culture and sense of belonging for people from all walks of life to come together and bond over their mutual love for the arts. Your cheeks will be in pain from the constant state of smiling and laughing but it is 100% worth it (and the wine tasting definitely helps as well).

Steering away from the traditional Adelaide Fringe venues, Tash York's show Wine Confessions with Tash York brings people together to celebrate the love and adoration for laughter, (copious amounts of) wine by the legendary local winery Chalk Hill Wines, and brimming talent that knows no bounds in the accessible and sensory-friendly venue Co-Able in Port Adelaide. By taking her performance to a unique venue that values the needs of not just the audience members but also the performers, Tash has introduced the wonderful concept and funky vibe of Co-Able as a space where the fun comes to thrive on its neon dance floor. As an advocate and allied health professional who works with individuals with disabilities regularly, this space appears to be a game-changer for inclusion and accessibility to be provided to anyone and everyone and we cannot wait to see what other brilliant projects are hosted at this site in the future.
