Drag Show The Game Show ★★★★★ Ever wondered what it’s like to be a #DragQueen, or if you have what it takes? Never fear, your drag mothers are here to take you on a journey of chaos & glamour through an interactive style #GameShow! Melbourne YouTube superstars #TheBeastieGirls – Benign Girl, Lazy Susan & Zelda Moon (think Powerpuff Girls on steroids with makeup overload!), make their Adelaide Fringe debut in this one-of-a-kind show. Audience members choose wisely where to sit, as you’re separated into two houses – Team Moon & Team Benign Girl. The aim of the game is not to disappoint your Queen & instead help her take out the win! But with five rounds, there is plenty of opportunity to pick her up, & crash her back down! Each round is unique & each audience brings their own flare to the game. Be sure to pack in your back pocket, or stash in your wig, some insults to throw at your enemy! Sit back, & enjoy some nasty burns! But what’s a drag game show without a “lip sync survival for your life” finale? At #DragShowTheGameShow, our drags don’t lip sync to just any main stream song, oh no! They battle to the underground club classic - Kim Petras – Throat Goat! (Google the lyrics if you’re not familiar with it, its poetic genius!) And finally, when the game is over & the winner is crowned - the loser of course must be shamed & humiliated. How best to humiliate a queen? Well, why not strip her of her prized wig & lashes? With her superpowers taken from her, the audience of the losing drag team is quickly ejected from the venue, to the winning teams delight! Making for a perfectly crafted show of glorious chaos! If this sounds right up your alley, make sure you head on down to The Factory at #TheGardenofUnearthlyDelight to catch these fabulous ladies before they sashay away. (*opps too late, unfortunately this review was written before their last show. The girls have now left, although they assured us they will return to Bi*chy Adelaide for next years’ #FringeFestival!)
