SAME PENIS FOREVER – REBEL LYONS ★★★★ Not to be confused with Rebel Wilson, but sure is just as quirky, Rebel Lyons is a one-woman all-star cabaret-meets-comedy show, who warns unsuspecting soon-to-be brides of the troubles faced when committing to an eternity of mediocre sex! Facing us in The Lark at #Gluttony wearing a nipple cut-out white wedding dress and peeking through red lingerie, #Lyons gives us a glimpse into the battles of her own marriage and the extra pressures and expectations fuelled by family, traditions and society. Married and divorced at a young age (all within the same year), Rebel has cleverly written this raw and extreme performance, bouncing off costume changes (or lack of), and multimedia projections. Adelaide Antics highlights are; a sia-styled husband and wife argument, a boxing match self-knock out, a long but catchy Christmas song and, by far the best, climaxing with stunning operatic styled vocals, a hilarious rendition of your favourite Disney Frozen song.
