I have a huge love of music.  Not all genres, but I always like to discover something new especially during the Fringe.  Walking into the beautifully lit intimate interior of The Garage International (Uniting Pilgrim Church), I knew I was in for a treat.  Saije is a contemporary folk duo from the East Coast of Australia who create soulful guitar-based folk-roots songs inspired by their mutual love of nature and exploring the world.  I was immediately mesmerised by their gorgeous harmonies, dynamic guitar playing, and multitasking abilities, enabling them to add percussion to their compositions.  Shanteya and Jo were down-to-earth and introduced each song with how it was inspired or written.  The entire performance was emotive and powerful, yet grounding.  Their Adelaide Fringe season may have come to an end but definitely go and see them when they return to South Australia on 2nd April to perform at Uraidla.
