Suren Jayemanne tells it like it is and shares his stories to the audience as if they were his best mates. He is the guy at the dinner table that everyone wants to talk to; energetic, easy going and interesting. A former accountant turned comedian, Suren delights with his quick-witted and thought-provoking style of comedy. His comedic storytelling certainly brings an audience together and keeps them on their toes Sharing his observations on multiculturalism, on Covid-19, and on life in Australia, Suren presents a thoughtful and lighthearted point of view on the world and how he perceives it. Razor-sharp insights on our society are vibrant and hilarious. You will leave the show enlightened. Suren is prone to going on tangents in certain stories, which can make the initial joke go completely over the audience’s heads, which is the one minor downfall of the show.
