Claudia Bellasi and Markus Steiner Ender are the directors of the Asfaltart Street Art Festival in northern Italy. They bring their love of colourful theatrics to their first feature documentary, The Guardian of Stories.

Siphai Thammavong runs a grocery shop but he also travels the mountains of Laos to find the last people still telling traditional stories.  A local theatre company then brings them to life with the most marvellous puppetry.
