About Us
Who We Are
Adelaide Fringe is a world-renowned annual arts festival that brings over 8,000 artists to South Australia, creating a hub of cultural exchange and diversity. As an open-access festival, we attract both emerging and established talent, making us Australia’s biggest arts festival and a key destination for culture seekers and industry scouts.
What We Do
Held each February and March, Adelaide Fringe is an open-access festival, welcoming all shows without curating or limiting our program. The Fringe team provides year-round support to artists, venues, and producers, driving tourism to South Australia and offering a seamless ticketing service to enhance the festival experience.
How We Do It
Adelaide Fringe is a $35 million event, with 13% funded by the State Government and the rest earned through Partnerships, registrations, ticketing feeds and Arts Unlimited, the Adelaide Fringe Foundation. Each year, $25.6 million from ticket sales is paid directly to artists and venues.
