The Debate
10 March 2026 - henry m.I should have known anything involving Martha Lott would be great. This one is fantastic, however it builds to a dramatic conclusion. My take on this play, social is a very powerful medium and can be good, but in the wrong hands can be very dangerous. Be careful when you start clicking. -
'The Soaking of Vera Shrimp' from Patch of Blue
10 March 2026 - henry m.Just saw The Soaking of Vera Shrimp' from Patch of Blue for a second time. Amazing how you pick up a few things you missed at the first performance. This play is excellent but a touch emotional. You may need some tissues, even the blokes. Recommended -
Love is a Game: An Adele Song Cycle
04 March 2026 - henry m.how do I review: Love is a Game: An Adele Song Cycle? Standing Ovation, 5 Stars, Mind Blowing. This group of 11 talented musicians have created a musical based on the songs of Adele. Choreography excellent, singing is next level. I would have been happy to see this quality of show anywhere. Its that good. I may have seen the highlight of my Fringe 2026 journey. -

'The Soaking of Vera Shrimp' from Patch of Blue
03 March 2026 - henry m.a little play about young Vera Shrimp who is still at school and recently suffered a family tragedy. The family are getting some unwanted help from caring neighbours. Vera likes to read raindrops. The play builds to an emotional ending causing much of the crowd to shed a tear. I was close too. Ï told myself, I just want to give Vera a warm hug. A real winner. -
Eat The Rich (but maybe not me mates x)
02 March 2026 - henry m.Saw this show twice. The first viewing seemed a quick overview but the second I got it. I knew it was a great play it just took me a while to understand it. Jade does have a broad accent. The show is wonderful and the performance flawless. I think I'll go again. -
HELLO - A Tribute to Adele
02 March 2026 - henry m.Saw this show at Carclew North Adelaide. I could smell the old money in this space. But seriously, this lady performed her group of Adele tunes very well indeed. I would love to see her again. She has a passion for the amazing Adele. -
Wiesenthal
28 February 2026 - henry m.Saw Wiesenthal at Ayers House today out of curiosity of both the story and the venue. We know all about Simon Wiesenthal Austrian Holocaust survivor, Nazi hunter, and writer. The play is performed as a First-person historical monodrama with the lead playing Mr Wiesenthal in the present tense. Its absolutely brilliant and is a must see before remaining performances are sold out. -
The Pink List
