t’s provocative without being sensational, hilarious without losing heart and unexpectedly tender in the places you least expect…

We’re at first invited to laugh loudly at his tunnel-visioned love for the sport… but then things gradually turn.

Alex Hill's performance is simply brilliant- the way he managed late comers to bring them up to speed with the narrative was hilarious!

We see the full humanity of Billy’s character. The stunt itself is just the gimmick that reveals the man.

This play is not for the faint hearted — it’s ballsy and hits some heavy content, but is brilliantly executed

Saw this show 4 times last year and another 4 times this year. Why you ask? It is that good. Its a play with an important message. The story builds to an emotional ending. The best part of the Fringe shows for me is the opportunities to interact with the performers and provide immediate feedback. I love this. Hope you see the Bum Flare Play
