The writing is deliberate and humane. It explores survival, identity, shame and the cruel irony of liberation without acceptance…

Outstanding performance by Michael Trauffer. Under Nazi rule, Paragraph 175 of the criminal code in Germany criminalising homosexuality in men was cruelly enforced with injustices continuing post war. Michael describes real events from concentration camps, cruel court verdicts post war and denials of compensation - until 2017 - for surviving victims. Deeply moving and thought provoking performance.
