We can all recall that one special toy which, even in adulthood, puts a smile on our face when we think of it, and 'The Velveteen Rabbit Musical Show' is about such a toy. Tilkin-Dilkin Studio's original adaptation is unique in its subtle encouragement of the audience to consider what it truly means to be 'Real', especially in our highly technological, virtual age. In this production two storytellers will take the audience along on a toy's journey of learning about friendship, loss and love. With original songs and score, this fun and quirky show would make anyone wonder and laugh, and definitely would have them tapping along to the music! Imaducation Inc is a not-for-profit association, and a registered charity, providing opportunities to children for creative and educational development. With-in this organisation the Tilkin-Dilkin Studio is an active theatre which produces regular shows, for children and with children. For the past 8 years Imaducation Inc, Tilkin-Dilkin Studio has served thousands of audiences and patrons in Sydney, with various creative workshops and projects for children across theatres, libraries, bookshops, schools and even the Sydney Children’s Hospital (which is a yearly running charity project called The Rainbow Elephant). They are a team passionate about what they do, which comes across in their work.
