Stuck - The image is of two hands on a black background. The hands are facing each other palm to palm and are stuck in a Cat's Cradle position with interlacing red ribbon, white twine and yellow string.

Stuck

Theatre and Physical Theatre
South Australia • World Premiere

An uncomfortable tightening in the pit of your stomach. The squirmy unsureness of not quite knowing. The urge to move when you’re bound in place.

3 different stories in 3 separate worlds, 'Stuck' is a triptych of short plays exploring the state of being between: between ideas between people, between places and between realities.

Created in collaboration with the Prospect Theatre for Young People ensemble, playwrights Jace Grummet, Carla Phillips and Sarah Peters introduce you to a mysterious underground bunker, navigating the politics of the high school formal and the chaotic passion of a public protest. Directed by Margaret Steven, 'Stuck' holds up a mirror – and a magnifying glass – to the situations, mindsets and stories that keep us stuck.
