Kate Hanley Corley is a Melbourne comedian who performs stand-up and writes and performs satirical songs.
Kate's parody song ‘Victoria’ during lockdown had over 1 million views on social media and was shared from Hong Kong to London. Her other lockdown songs ‘Suttonly’ and ‘Hotel Quarantina’ similarly went viral.
Kate's previous characters include French snob Fanny Bouffante whose mission is to turn 'bogans' into 'beau gens' with her book 'French Women Do Everything Better' and South Yarra Mum Annabelle.
The wife and mother of three became a comedian at 37 after years after working as a journalist and then script researcher for crime dramas Blue Heelers and City Homicide. She loves devising ways to make people belly laugh.
