Ben, whose wife and child eagerly await his arrival at Adelaide Airport, faces unexpected uncertainty when he is detained by border control officials due to an issue with his Permanent Residency Visa. As he oscillates between confidence and panic, Ben explores themes of identity, family, and belonging with humour and heartfelt insight.

Ben Voss is a much-loved South African actor, comedian, writer and producer. He moved to Australia in 2024 on a Global Talent Residency Visa in the Arts. Career highlights include over 1500 shows of his hit sketch comedy series Green Mamba, Black Mamba, Mamba Republic and Mamba proudly SA. His alter-ego Beauty Ramapeleple was a regular voice on radio and face on South African TV. His two stage productions, Bend it like Beauty and Beauty and the BEE both had acclaimed runs at London’s Oval House theatre and toured internationally.
In South Africa’s annual family pantomime spectacular Ben has played the Evil Queen in Snow White (2019), an Ugly Sister in Cinderella (2021), Abanazer in Aladin (2022) and Hook in Peter Pan (2023)
He has a star on the South African theatre walk of fame!
