I Wanna Be Mark Wahlberg
20 March 2025 - Ray and Conrad HC.A powerful examination of gender. What does it mean to identify with typically masculine roles and behaviour? It’s not about being trans, necessarily, but it is about being human. -

09 March 2025 - Craig T.Mind-blowingly bad. The ‘artist’ spends several mins in the dark with a torch on her unshaved legs (how edgy…), several more waving a stool, and several more doing a rave dance. In between, she weighs up being a woman/man (conclusion: periods bad, strength good). 35 mins and it’s over. A show where the performer has nothing to say (almost literally) and ends 15 mins early. The internet says this has been a work in progress for 5 years! Time to try something new? -

06 March 2025 - Stuart C.Testosterone fuelled femininity at its finest. Short but dynamic telling of one woman's battle with the patriarchy whilst blessed with a body that challenges conventional gender stereotypes. Extra kudos to Rachel Melody for challenging my techno inspired sporran thumping to an improvised percussion duel. Love your work Rachel.
