These guys are an improvisational riot
As iconic as it may be to walk through the Garden during The Fringe, I prefer the smaller venues around town. The Mill on Angas St is a fantastic artist space and small gallery for 10 months of the year and for the other 2 months, offers its glorious intimate space for some great Fringe performers.

Last night was the opening night for the Burton Brothers show Snake Oil.

These boys hail from Melbourne and very nearly didn't get across the border. Adelaide should be happy that they made it as they are definitely worth a punt. Both Josh and Tom (actual brothers but I won't tell you which one is older) are gifted at improv and can sing too. They performed a number of short and funny sketches sharing anecdotes of their life growing up together and introduced the audience to tons of other zany characters and personas which had the audience giggling along. Their writing is clever and their sketches are hilarious. It was impressive to see their fluidity moving in and out of character, especially in the scene with the precious suitcase.

We walked away smiling and thinking about our relationships with our siblings. If you have a brother, sister or even a close mate, you should check this out!
