Lloyd and Pete’s show tagline is ‘Tough to explain. Easy to enjoy,’ and the geeky IT duo aren’t wrong. First thoughts are, how on earth do people come up with this stuff? But it doesn’t take long for the audience to become invested in this interactive and musical game of bingo, as the boys call out ‘Number thirty, this fork is dirty!’. After all, who doesn’t want to win a muffin tray salvaged from the suburban streets or an imperial tape measure?
Beneath the quirkiness, this talented pair offers an abundance of clever DIY tech that you can tell was born from a series of those ‘what if’ conversations then developed purely for the joy of its silly self, each bouncing off each other’s ideas as skits converge and bingo becomes a treasure hunt on the Isle of Man and other obscure but delightfully daft games.
Robo Bingo is a fun show that has perfected the art of combining comedy, computers and mind mapping, proving that doing what you love will attract your tribe, no matter where you are. If there's an introverted roboclub enthusiast in your home, they'll love this show.
