An all Australian comedic musical about the hardship of teenage life and the polarising experience for those having to run The Beep Test.
Adults & Teens will be able to relate to the varied schoolyard personalities and behaviour. The show provides smiles throughout and lots of laughs but one or two expletives to be aware of if colourful language isn’t your thing. The enthusiastic singing was clear and easy to understand throughout and the high-quality show was reminiscent of an Australian episode of High School Musical. Our kids weren’t initially excited about going to a musical, but it was indeed a pleasant surprise first time experience for them.
The Holden Street Theatre is a fantastic venue and almost a little village unto itself. Parking is easy, plenty of outdoor seating, Burgers on the BBQ, a well-stocked premium bar and plenty of welcoming staff make it a great night out.
