GODZ is about four ancient gods of Olympus: Cupid (god of love), Hercules (god of strength), Dionysus (god of wine) and [oops - sorry, I have forgotten the other one 🙄]. And I have to apologise to Hercules, but all four are damned strong! There is amazing interaction with all four performers when together on stage and constant WOW factors with every individual performance.

There are laughs throughout and great interaction with the enthusiastic and appreciative audience. In the latter part of the show, Hercules discovers three figures standing on pedestals (chairs) and shrouded in sheets. As he pulls the sheet off each figure we are confronted with a naked statue-like god with nothing but a brass plate in front of their vital parts. Hercules moves from one to the other trying to tickle them with a duster, and squirt them down with a spray bottle. Then it comes to his turn to join the nude gods, but he has no plate!

You must go and see how this transpires – the whole venue was in stitches! We then see the transition of Hercules being condemned to the underworld for eternity, but being rejected for only being single-vaccinated!! The next phase of his journey is equally hilarious.

GODZ really is one of the must-see shows of Adelaide Fringe 2022!
