Sugar Bits are: FEMINIST TRASH
The cult hit of 2025 returns for 6 shows only. Knock over your trash cans - sketch trio Sugar Bits are back spilling feminism all over the street. Smeared with the socio-political grime of Abbie Chatfield and the idiocy of Aunty Donna, these triple-threats are overflowing with absurd sketches, razor-sharp songs and characters validating the feminist experience. Your power trip is our FEMINIST TRASH!

Steph, Nic and Tess are a collective of clowns who met at university, drawn to each other for their ability to be profoundly unintellectual and rigorously physical. Their work is driven by a desire to bring people together to create shared experiences that are new and adventurous, as well as playful and sublimely stupid. Since 2021, they devised a comedic physical theatre show for kids, and their debut sketch show as Sugar Bits, “Hit n Hope” gaining mentors Sharnema Nougar (director), Broden Kelly and producer mentor Janet McLeod. Expect playful ensemble moments of and a strong audience engagement, character and musical comedy. They see the personal as political and use their experiences to fuel parody, theatricalising current events and speaking to a wider feminist perspective.
