Iwakura - Immersive Worlds
Inspired by Shinto mythology, Iwakura invokes the ancient spirits said to dwell within Japan’s sacred rock formations. This breathtaking full-dome experience by visual artist Ali M. Demirel and ambient musician Kazuya Nagaya envelops audiences in shifting natural landscapes and meditative soundscapes shaped by Zen-Buddhist prayer traditions.
Immersive, reverent and utterly transportive, Iwakura guides viewers on a contemplative journey that reconnects us with nature’s sublime power—inviting stillness, awe and a renewed sense of our place in the world.
