NIUSIA
09 March 2025 - Stuart C.Tremendous work from Beth Paterson, writer and actor, and Kathryn Yates director. Tales of if holocaust survivors are never easy, but this is told very deftly, with elements of levity and humour interspersed throughout. Resonated very strongly with me as my mother, though not Jewish, was raised stateless in Nazi Germany. I heard her voice in Beth's grandma Niusia repeatedly.
