A must see! Stunning performance.

Outstanding performance by Michael Trauffer. Under Nazi rule, Paragraph 175 of the criminal code in Germany criminalising homosexuality in men was cruelly enforced with injustices continuing post war. Michael describes real events from concentration camps, cruel court verdicts post war and denials of compensation - until 2017 - for surviving victims. Deeply moving and thought provoking performance.

Brought tears to my eyes. Brilliant acting and an important story to tell.

The Pink List is a story that deserves to be heard. A captivating and at times harrowing show, it tells an important story based on factual accounts.

Michael takes his audience on a difficult journey but we are safe in his hands. We are spell bound by his well researched narrative and engaging five star performance. Big story in a tiny space. A must see if you want entertainment with substance.

Having parents who were living in Europe during World War 2, I am very interested in history of this period. We know about the minority groups that were targeted. I wasn't aware of this group. Its disturbing and very sad. Are we getting better? I hope so.

Great show, totally captivating.

Great piece of threatre ,worth seeing,so well performed

I went to this show as a WW2 history buff who rarely considers LGBT+ issues & was sceptical of the musical format. I really enjoyed the show. It covered a rarely discussed part of WW2 history: the persecution of gay men in concentration camps and the post-war denial that they were victims of the Nazi's due to anti-homosexual laws (so they were one of few groups to be denied compensation). The show was raw, insightful, largely accurate, and non-preachy. Strongly recommended for history buffs.

Powerful premise and committed performance: a 1957 Germany trial made personal, with clear stakes and real anger. The Disney-bright musical numbers can be brilliant satire, making the cruelty feel sharper. But the tonal whiplash sometimes blunts emotion, and a few songs feel more cute than necessary.

Excellent one person show about a thought-provoking topic that I had not previously considered. Highly recommend.
