Josh Thomas - Work In Progress
28 February 2026 - Georgia B.Josh Thomas is back with his trademark awkward but amusing as all hell stand up comedy style, channeled into a in-development show about "scheduled happiness", filled with crazy anecdotes and a hint of magic. There is no denying he is the king of comedic timing and delivery. Get along and see this one before he takes it around the world! -
Eva Seymour as 'The Understudy'
28 February 2026 - Georgia B.A one woman play that portrays the experience of being an understudy and its impacts on the psyche, accurately portrayed by an episodic narrative that gradually moved from realism to the absurd. This one was a masterclass in being a character actor and the small moments of meta humour were perfectly placed to relieve the building tension. With plenty of niche theatre references throughout, all performers will enjoy this one! -
Gemma Caruana: RAGE BAIT
28 February 2026 - Georgia B.A rage-filled cabaret/sketch show, examining all of the things that piss the performer off, from a niche soap opera character's death to people incorrectly guessing her race. This show is quirky and comedic beyond description, expertly performed with not only humour but talent in spades. I'm so glad to see how it has fully developed since seeing it as a work in progress last year! -
Oat Milk & Honey *FINAL SEASON*
28 February 2026 - Georgia B.A simple but beautiful two hander that is a fusion of acrobatics and music, exploring the concepts of anxiety and peace. I particularly enjoyed the co-existence of the performers, but also how they contributed to and determined each other's performances. This is a unique show (definitely not your classic circus performance) and it's clear to see why it's an award winner. Get in before it's gone forever! -
Millicent Sarre is Too Tired To Smash (Patriarchy)
23 February 2026 - Georgia B.Plain and simply, this is Mim's most sophisticated, relatable and timely show yet, looking at the widespread burnout epidemic permeating our world and its root causes, through her trademark feminist vehicle cabaret style. It is funny, it's thought-provoking, it's moving, and it's a unifying reminder that we're not alone in our "collective weariness" -
Fountain Lakes: Y2K
23 February 2026 - Georgia B.The Kath and Kim drag parody team are back with the prequel you didn't know you needed. Chock a block with references you know and love to both the beloved Aussie cult TV show and the nineties and noughties, this play will have you chuckling, cheering and chooky-neck dancing along. -
Recovering Eldest Daughter
23 February 2026 - Georgia B.An autobiographical cabaret that looks at the artist's life as an eldest daughter and her journey to overcoming the "curse". This was sooo very funny and original in voice and songs, performed with engaging stage presence and fab pipes. Despite the unique story, all eldest daughters will find it relatable on some level! -
YUCK Circus; Naughties
23 February 2026 - Georgia B.The girls from Yuck have done it again, with their trademark hilarious and highly impressive circus tribute show to the beloved noughties (2000s) - with a variety of acrobatic acts to hit songs and abundant references to iconic pop culture, all delivered with amazing stage presence, I can guarantee if you grew up in this decade, you will love it! -
YOU CAN'T TELL ANYONE by Joanna Richards
22 February 2026 - Georgia B.A tense play in which a group of teens on the brink of “adulthood” spend their last night together playing a game in which everyone’s darkest secrets begin to pour out. It is an engaging and quite well paced story, strongly performed by the young ensemble who distinctively establish their characters and relationships. And though this may not have been intentional, the tiny stage the relatively big cast performed on added to the claustrophobic feeling the plot brought to audiences. -
CVNT
19 February 2026 - Georgia B.The title tells you everything in terms of what this show is all about - and the character who performs it. It's educational, it's cathartic, it's empowering, and it's bloody hilarious. If you are bashful, private and hate audience interaction, this is not for you - but if you are open-minded to an hour of absurdity, you will NOT regret "cumming" to this one. -
Frankie McNair - HUGE ASS MINDSET
19 February 2026 - Georgia B.A brave and bold hour of stand up comedy by a truly enrapturing performer. Frankie candidly shares key chapters of her life story/journey towards a "huge ass mindset". With a content warning at the top, be prepared for some dark humor delivered without shame and by the end I can almost guarantee you will truly admire and be inspired by her for it. -
George Orwell's Animal Farm by Van Badham
19 February 2026 - Georgia B.A VERY impressive take on the classic novel, adapted to reflect modern America and the social media age while retaining its timeless roots. The young cast were so strong and dedicated to their roles from the second audience entered, the direction was decisive, the costumes and props were clever, and the use of videos interspersed between scenes really elevated the work. Overall, a must see for Orwell and theatre fans who need to laugh or they’d cry at the state of the States.
