The Last Audition
20 March 2026 - Cathy C.I think we were honoured here in Adelaide to have this world premiere, which is now going around the world including Edinburgh. Paul Shearman expects to be back with it next year and his reputation will then precede him. If you are the least inclined to see an intelligent show which puts King Lear in the context of an aging actor's fight to stay with the plot, this is the show for you. -
I Can Have A Dark Side Too
20 March 2026 - Cathy C.This is part ROFL and part Emotional roller-coaster. We went on spec tonight and highly recommend the last performance tomorrow. Glenn Wallis does a splendid job of content and acting. If only he could defend himself against Emmett, who is, after all, only a sock puppet. How hard could it be....? -
Bogan Shakespeare Presents: Macbeth
15 March 2026 - Cathy C.Hilarious throughout, so clever. Shakespeare would have loved it! We were at the last show, and I was regretting not having been to it earlier so that we could have gone twice, but they announced that they are back next year. On my list. -
CADEL: Lungs on Legs
15 March 2026 - Cathy C.My suspension of disbelief was complete. When Connor Delves, the performer said he lived in NY now, I was like I wonder why Cadel lives in NY? Great show. -
Crying Contralto
14 March 2026 - Cathy C.A beautiful show, she has a great voice on top of being an accomplished clown. The whole audience was engaged. Yes, we boohooed our way through this show. But we left feeling good. What's the expression about feeling better after a good cry? We all did :) -
Tonight! a clown who wanted to be loved?
11 March 2026 - Cathy C.Such a gentle show, the audience happily obliges when asked to get involved, a bitter-sweet ending. If you want a rest from shouty things in the East End, this is highly recommended. -
Eat The Rich (but maybe not me mates x)
08 March 2026 - Cathy C.'What a great show' said my partner who did his first degree at Cambridge and lived there for many years. 'Just like that, with the perfect degree of exaggeration'. Hugely entertaining. -
The Debate
08 March 2026 - Cathy C.I saw somebody left the praise 'could have been in The Festival'. Indeed. Sharp, harrowing, draw-breath-in-funny. Or something more complex than 'funny'. My pick of the Fringe for this year. -
Why I Stuck A Flare Up My Ar** For England
01 March 2025 - Cathy C.A wonderfully crafted and acted show. Going to be one of the Fringe's big hits this year.
