Volunteer Program Coordination
- Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, induction, training and scheduling of Adelaide Fringe volunteers.
- Coordinate the deployment of volunteers across Adelaide Fringe events, activations and festival operations.
- Build positive relationships with volunteers, fostering a welcoming, inclusive and supportive volunteer experience.
- Coordinate Volunteer Program Interns, providing day-to-day guidance and support.
- Attend Adelaide Fringe-managed events that require volunteer support, providing on-the-day briefings, coordinating volunteer activities and ensuring volunteers are well supported to deliver a positive festival experience.
- Liaise with venues, artists, contractors and other stakeholders to coordinate volunteer placements where required.
- Coordinate volunteer communications, ensuring volunteers receive timely and accurate information throughout the festival lifecycle.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of key volunteer initiatives, including Volunteer Induction and the End of Season Celebration.
- Support the implementation of Adelaide Fringe's diversity, inclusion and accessibility initiatives within the Volunteer Program.
Administration & Operations
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, role descriptions and resources within the volunteer management system.
- Prepare volunteer rosters and coordinate shift allocations to support festival operations.
- Administer volunteer benefits and recognition initiatives.
- Monitor volunteer attendance and respond to operational changes throughout the festival.
- Assist with reporting, program evaluation and the continuous improvement of volunteer processes and systems.
- Ensure all volunteer activities are delivered in accordance with Adelaide Fringe policies, procedures and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
