POSITION: Events & Production Coordinator
LOCATION: Adelaide Fringe Head Office
REPORTS TO: Event, Production & Volunteer Lead
EMPLOYMENT: Full time
START DATE: November 3rd 2026
END DATE: 2nd April 2027
SALARY: 70k per annum (pro rata), plus 12% superannuation

Event & Production Coordination
  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of Adelaide Fringe-managed events, activations and festival infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the installation, operation, maintenance and de-installation of Adelaide Fringe’s temporary Box Office facilities in collaboration with the Head of Customer Experience.
  • Support the planning and delivery of key infrastructure projects, including the SA Carers Lounge, The Dome regional tour, FringeWorks and other festival activations.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing team, coordinate the creation, installation and maintenance of Adelaide Fringe signage throughout the Adelaide Fringe season.
  • Coordinate event logistics, production schedules, equipment, suppliers, contractors and site operations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and manage crew rosters using Employment Hero.
  • Coordinate, brief and provide day-to-day support to Casual Event & Production Crew and Event & Production Interns, ensuring they are well informed and supported throughout event delivery.
  • Monitor festival infrastructure throughout the season and respond proactively to operational issues.
  • Maintain Adelaide Fringe’s Kennards storage facility, ensuring equipment, event assets and materials are organised, inventoried and readily accessible throughout the festival season.
 
Events
  • Support Event, Production & Volunteer Lead in the planning and delivery of key Adelaide Fringe events, including:
  • Program Launch
  • First Nations Cultural Tours
  • VIP Opening Event
  • Awards Ceremony
  • Assist with the delivery of additional Adelaide Fringe events and departmental initiatives, including:
  • Volunteer Induction & End of Season Celebration
  • Meet the Media
  • Judges Information Session
  • Media Calls
  • Giving Day
  • Honey Pot Events
  • Provide on-the-day event coordination, including crew support, stakeholder liaison, event logistics, and bump in/bump out activities as required.
 
Administration & Stakeholder Management
  • Prepare and maintain production documentation, operational schedules, crew rosters and post-event reporting.
  • Contributes to project planning, risk assessments, workplace health and safety documentation, and emergency management planning.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets to support successful delivery.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams, artists, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure all activities are delivered in accordance with Adelaide Fringe policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, positive and safety-focused team culture.
