POSITION: Artist & Venue Coordinator (Seasonal)
LOCATION: Adelaide Fringe Head Office and FringeWORKS in season location
REPORTS TO: Artist & Venue Manager
EMPLOYMENT: Full time (Seasonal)
SALARY: 65k per annum (pro rata), plus 12% superannuation

ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Department: Programs and Development
Supervises: Nil
Internal Liaisons:Artist & Venue team, Executive Director – Programs and Development, Ticketing, Digital, Marketing and Operations Staff
External Liaisons: Adelaide Fringe registered artists and venues, venue operators, judges, partners, council representatives, arts industry and local business
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Area of Responsibility
  • Liaise and support artists, presenters and venues to participate in the Adelaide Fringe.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the online artists’ venues registration platform (AVR), including development delivery, acceptance testing, training and support and review.
  • Locate and encourage available venues suitable for Adelaide Fringe performances, installations and exhibitions, and in doing so, establish and cultivate ongoing stakeholder relationships with venue operators, managers and owners.
  • Strong understanding of creative sector, bringing depth of knowledge to help deliver informative resources and engaging Professional Development opportunities to our active artist and venues.
  • Support the Artist & Venue team to produce a range of artist and venue resources both printed and digital, including but not limited to AVR resources, Artist & Venue Magazines, FringeWORKS Artist Guide, FringeWORKS Facebook page and external public communications.
  • Support the preparation the Adelaide Fringe Guide (print publication) including, preparing raw data, editing and proofing in conjunction with Marketing and Partnerships teams.
  • Ensure that the Artist and Venue Registration platform (AVR) and event details are up-to date at all times and proof event listings on the www.adelaidefringe.com.au
  • Coordinating team with leading all Artist and Venue events, working collaboratively with operations team to provide event delivery is smooth. Events including the Meet the Community, Meet the Media, Info Sessions, FringeWORKS Daily program and office roll out.
  • Liaising with the Digital, ticketing & Marketing departments to develop ideas and adequate support for artists and venues throughout the year.
  • Developing the participant Professional Development Series and FringeWORKS schedule of Daytime programming for throughout festival and the logistical roll out of the events.
  • Bringing a level of maturity, initiative and strategy to evaluate projects, processes and procedures for future planning.
  • Provide support to entire Artist & Venue team to complete general Artist & Venue related tasks and projects.
  • Support the Artist & Venue Manager and the Ticketing and Digital department to compile detailed statistics on artist and venue participation at the completion of each Adelaide Fringe.
  • Support the progression of Diversity and Accessibility within the festival in association with the organisations Access Action Plan.
  • Embrace online organisation project management software.
  • Act as an ambassador for the organisational culture and values ensuring they are upheld and embedded.
  • Observe and follow all Work Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
  • Undertake projects and activities as directed by the Head of Program Operations.
