The Hairy Godmothers consists of a motley crew of Perth’s local creatives coming from a diverse array of backgrounds including doctors, engineers, theatre managers, science teachers, lawyers, poets and yogis. With a unique collective dynamic, each member of the Godmothers team contributes to every aspect of show construction from concept creation and writing to production and performing.
Starting in 2019, The Hairy Godmothers have produced 4 shows, including award winning show Dizney in Drag: Once Upon a Parody and WET. They have toured Europe & UK in 2023 and toured Australia on and off for the last 3 years.
