St Roch, 20 Spencer St, Stirling. Accessed along a white gravel drive, ideally viewing sculptures by a fringe artist. Even without an exhibiting sculptor, the drive itself creates a sense of anticipation approaching the building. Within the building is ‘the hall’. And the hall for those with the creative blessing, well…15.6m x 7.1m and 4.9m ceiling. Entry via the main doors allow visitors to move through the space to the left or right of a central staircase leading up to the balcony, viewing the hall below. Naturally lit with French style doors that can be opened to capture a breeze or closed for air conditioning. 2 in-house facilities and kitchen. A liquor licence would be required to sell alcohol on the premises. Other rooms off the hall are accessible for behind the scenes requirements. Within the grounds, are 6 car parking spaces or, Bus T801(Mt Barker)/T863(Aldgate) Grenfell St in the city, off at stop 36, Mt Barker Rd and walk 1.3km to Spencer St. Taxi companies service the area.
