Main Bond Store at The Waikerie Bond Store
Waikerie Riverfront, Leonard Norman Dr, Waikerie, Meru
The Waikerie Bond Store is the only remaining original building of the Waikerie Co-Op Distillery, which began trade in 1914. Predominantly used for wine, fortified beverages and brandy, the distillery closed operations in 1975, leaving behind what we now know as 'The Waikerie Bond Store'.
With high pitched open rafted ceilings, a rugged concrete floor and painted stone walls, the space is rustic, not at all precious and at the ready for any type of exhibition, show or performance!
In addition to the main 'barn style' original building is a small sub-room, perfect for 'backstage', entrance or even a bar service area. Public toilets are located adjacent to the building.
The space is part of: The Waikerie Bond Store
